World's Best Origami Book for Beginners and Adults

Image
World's Best Origami was one of the very first books on this fun, paper folding craft that I could actually understand, coming to this paper craft as an adult. I looked at a lot of books when I was first started out with this form of paper folding. World's Best Origami is a book for beginners and more. It is good for adults as well as older children with the step by step layout. It will take you all through the basics up to more advanced intermediate origami skills. Here is my own review of this book and why I believe it is very good for older paper crafters to use. There are lots of origami books but beginner versions are often very simple ones aimed at kids.

How to Make an Easy Dad Card for Father's Day

I find that getting good card making ideas for men can sometimes be a little difficult. I love making pretty and cute cards that wouldn't appeal to most of the men in my life. Like many other crafting friends that I speak to, I sometimes struggle to come up with handmade card ideas for men. This simple Dad card I made for Father's Day has been a massive hit and one that works great other occasions like birthdays as well. Although this particular alphabet design is clearly made just for Dad, you can use this same method to make up other patterns based on short words and text that will easily stretch across a blank greeting card front. Perfect for last minute makes!
