Image
The Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection Issue 4 is packed with cute items for Spring card making and papercrafts. These Hunkydory kits are always great value and I look forward to receiving mine because I know they last a long time. Get some ideas and inspiration on using items from issue 4 of this kit. You should love the cute die set with co-ordinating stamps based on a Spring bird theme. I adore the sweet little bird houses. Also enclosed is a wonderfully versatile tree embossing folder. The tree can be used for so many occasions and seasons as shown in the included magazine. I did something completely different with the tree and it was a fun project.

Tonic Die Easy Pocket Card Tutorial

Image
Have you ever wondered how to elegantly add gift cards, money gifts, personal photos or notes inside a handmade greeting card? This easy pocket card tutorial shows you how to do that very quickly and simply. I'm using the Floral Cuff die from the Tonic Magazine Issue 5 which has a lovely rectangular shape just perfect to make a pocket with. You can use any similar shaped die that will stretch across the width of a card blank or, alternatively, hand cut a pocket shape yourself. With just a few simple paper crafting techniques, you can create a beautiful handmade card with a handy pocket on the front or even tucked on the inside if you prefer. Come and see how to make gorgeous pocket cards with this tutorial.

Tonic Magazine Issue 5 Ideas and Inspiration

Finally Tonic magazine issue 5 has made its way into my hands. I absolutely love my Cardmaking Collection kits which are always worth the wait but the Tonic set is the real highlight. This Tonic issue 5 contains a rather unique 7-in-1 Tonic die cutting set called the Floral Cuff as well as a matching embossing folder, rubber stamp set and a beautiful selection of papers and toppers. Get lots of inspiration in this post with cards I've made using this set. I recently purchased a new Sizzix Big Shot (I had the original red Sizzix from way back) and am now hooked on die cutting to make cards and other paper crafts.
