How to Use Hunkydory Little Books for Quick Cards and Notecards

Image
Hunkydory is a UK based craft company that is my absolute favorite. They do ship to other countries and, if yours isn't a country that they currently ship to, and you can also get a selection of their products via Amazon and eBay. Today I'll be showing you how to use Hunkydory Little Books to make some very quick and lovely handmade cards as well as notecards. The Little Books are a dream to use and make card making very quick and easy. Ideal for beginner crafters and experienced ones too. Hunkydory's  Little Books range is fabulous with themed images printed onto good quality paper and set into a handy little pad ready to tear off and use. Because there are repeats of each image, you can use these for 3D decoupage and also for making sets of card such as notecards.

How to Make an Easter Egg Banner EASY DIY With Sizzix

Sizzix have a wonderful Bigz Easter egg die by Samantha Barnett which cuts a large sized egg and a pretty bow. Although you could use another large Easter egg die or make your own cut-out by hand, this one is perfect for making quick DIY pennant banners and bunting. Make a quick and easy Easter egg banner using colored card, paper and die cut shapes. I used colorful and bright Spring shades and used a 3D folding technique to add dimension and interest to the finished design. I never have much time for crafting at Easter so this die cut banner is an egg-cellent last-minute make that you can use to brighten up your home with. You can also make this design by cutting the shapes from hand using a free printable template online.

EASY DIY Pop Up Box Card Tutorial and Instructions

Image
Let me help you make your own gorgeous pop-up box card with my easy, step by step photo tutorial and instructions. Instructions are given in both US and UK measurements and popular paper sizes (A4 and Letter) to make things really simple for you. A pop-up box card is styled like a pretty box shape when on display but has the benefit of folding flat into an envelope for posting and gifting. Imagine the wonderful surprise when this stunning card comes out of the envelope and pops right open. A pop-up box card is not called an exploding box - the two are often confused. I prefer this style of box card because it is so pretty and it has the added bonus of folding down almost flat. So it is both pretty and practical. Let's see how you can make one.
